Haines Watts is a top 15 group of entrepreneurial accountants and business advisors, with over 60 offices across England, Wales and Scotland.
As offices are acquired, so are different people, working practices, and business culture.
To bring more unity across the group, new values were defined and the Haines Watts DNA emerged. The issue Haines Watts faced was how to track ongoing engagement with the values, and more importantly the knowledge and understanding people had of these values.
Solution
We created the Know your DNA Values Platform, a bespoke end-to-end learning solution. Existing training content was translated into the platform, and new video content introduced to support it. The knowledge from this training was embedded using Feed Your Elephant’s intelligent technology, and then tested repeatedly to provide rigorous data around engagement and knowledge levels.
Feed Your Elephant managed the project from the earliest stage when agreeing objectives, and led the project team until final delivery of the platform to over 1200 employees.

Outcomes
The project did not demand mandatory engagement, nor was it linked to reward schemes or performance management, yet 60% downloaded the platform onto their personal devices.
From there user’s knowledge scores soared: the average first score on a quiz was 29, this rose to an average personal best of 84 with users answering 17 questions correctly in a row.
